💚 Section 2: Who We Are
Rising Beyond the Bottle (RBB) is a community-based organization in Homa Bay County dedicated to restoring hope and dignity to families affected by drug and substance use.
Our journey began after our community-led research — “Silent Suffering: Challenges Faced by Spouses of Drug Users in Homa Bay County.”
This study revealed the hidden struggles faced by spouses and inspired us to act.

Our main programs include:
- 🌸 Harm Reduction: We support drug users to adopt safer practices and access health services.
- 🕊️ Family Empowerment: We provide counseling, mentorship, and economic support to spouses and families.
- 📢 Advocacy & Awareness: We work to end stigma and promote community understanding around addiction and recovery.
- 💼 Skills Training: We train women and families to start small, sustainable businesses for independence.
